What draws you to wedding photography?

What I love most about wedding photography is the opportunity to be creatively versatile. A wedding day brings together various styles of photography—architecture, portraiture, product photography, photojournalism, and even an editorial flair, especially in the past couple of years. The challenge of mastering these diverse forms is incredibly rewarding to me.

Additionally, I find immense joy in knowing that I’m crafting memories for future generations. I approach each wedding with the mindset of a curious child, eager to capture the raw emotions and fleeting moments that couples will cherish decades later.

And, of course, I can’t overlook the incredible destinations and experiences we share with couples. These adventures are as much a part of the story as the wedding itself, and I’m honored to document them.

How would you describe your photography style?

My photography style is primarily rooted in a documentary approach, allowing moments to unfold naturally and capturing the genuine emotions as they happen. I believe in letting the day flow organically, which enables me to preserve the authenticity of each moment. However, I also incorporate an editorial touch by taking some time alone with the couple. This allows me to create timeless portraits that not only express their personalities but also add a refined, elegant layer to the story of their day.

What inspires you creatively?

Honestly, inspiration comes from everywhere. The digital era offers endless avenues to be inspired by other creatives, while cinema provides a profound understanding of aesthetics and fundamentals. Watching films helps me appreciate the art of storytelling and visual composition, which deeply influences my work. But ultimately, my greatest inspiration is life itself—every experience, emotion, and moment fuels my creativity.

What is it that makes an image magical?

When you see a couple sharing a deeply emotional moment, it’s impossible to ignore. That raw display of love and connection is what truly makes an image magical.

I believe it’s essential for couples to have complete trust in their photographer. Think of it as giving them a blank canvas and allowing them to create something unique and personal for you. The more trust and freedom you give them, the more they can capture the true essence of your day. I always advise couples to choose a photographer who makes them feel safe and understood—someone whose presence feels natural and whose work resonates with them on a deeper level.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

My dream location would be a dark, moody castle on a rainy day, with thunder rumbling in the distance. The atmosphere would be beautifully haunting, and in the background, a piano would be softly playing Claude Debussy’s “Clair de Lune.”
