In parallel to the experiential retail environments, a bespoke jewelry service offers customers the opportunity to design timeless heirloom pieces. One-off, handcrafted jewels that are at once timeless and sophisticated, while still reflect the idiosyncratic Lucy Folk creative landscape.

Our gems are sourced from respected and ethical suppliers from all over the world depending on what’s required.

Do you offer a custom design service? If so, how long does it take to make a custom piece?

Cultivating a truly bespoke service for customers wishing to create a piece that is one-of-a-kind and symbolic with personal meaning, we collaborate closely with each client to ensure their vision comes to life. The material quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are guaranteed to be of the highest standard.

We believe that designing jewelry should be laced with an inspired vision and passionate energy that will continue through the life of the jewels. These are also the key characteristics that make the design process exciting and most important, fulfilling for both the client and designer. Our bespoke service brings a whole new experimental dimension to both the brand and customer experience.  It’s imperative for us that the experience of designing a bespoke piece together is also a process that delights and is enjoyed.

Available for appointments in the Melbourne and Sydney studios, via Skype or on location when traveling abroad, we meet with clients to establish a creative brief for each unique commission. This process usually takes 4-6 weeks depending on the time of year and the nature of the design.

What is your most popular piece?

The Emerald Split Ring!

The Emerald Split Ring is dedicated to the unique experiences we have through life and travel. Designed using a variety of techniques, the emerald split ring is made up of seven individual shapes across the head of the ring. It has all the hallmarks of what we love in a diamond ring. Classic shapes and colors combined in an unconventional form.

What advice would you give to a couple looking for their wedding jewelry?

Our advice we always give is to be true to your personal style, as it is how you put each piece together, that is yours and yours to own. And to always be sure to go with quality over size and quantity when designing a piece!

What tips do you have for couples to care for their jewelry?

By creating bespoke jewelry that will be passed to the generations that follow, there is an element of care that is required. As gold has a tendency to scratch, extra care should be taken when wearing and cleaning to maintain quality and appearance. Between professional servicing by our team, gold and platinum pieces can be maintained with a non-abrasive cleaner. Gold can easily be cleaned using warm, sudsy water and a soft, gentle brush. We recommend avoiding the exposure of gold jewelry to perfume, cosmetics as it can cause discoloration and possible disintegration.

Examine your jewelry regularly to ensure settings are snug and clasps and joining’s are secure. Diamonds are best cleaned using a soft brush and a solution of six parts warm water to one-part ammonia. Be sure to rinse thoroughly after cleaning and dry with a soft cloth before wear.
