About LUM Eventos

Mariana Nosti (Interior Architect) and Jimena Villalobos (Graphic Designer) are the creative directors of LUM, a company dedicated to the organization, production and conceptualization of events, as well as floral design.

We know the importance of planning an event, not only because of the investment it represents, but because of the way it remains fixed in everyone’s memory over time.

We have over 10 years of experience working and evolving with LUM. We love what we do and we have transmitted our passion and savoir faire to the great team that is part of the company today.

Behind The Brand

What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?

Our journey started when we met through a mutual friend and immediately recognized the potential to merge our backgrounds, talents, and interests into a collaborative project emphasizing creativity and customer service. Over more than 10 years of working together, our path has evolved organically, growing alongside our clients.

What services do you offer couples?

We offer comprehensive services including design, coordination, logistics, and support throughout the entire planning process of their special day. Our creative team excels in developing and realizing our clients’ ideas to their fullest potential.

How would you describe your aesthetic?

Our aesthetic is characterized as simple, organic, elegant, and cutting-edge.

As a planner or stylist, what are you inspired by at the moment in the world of weddings?

We are inspired by capturing the unique personality and tastes of our clients while incorporating our expertise. Cultural blends play a significant role, as we aim to preserve both our essence and that of our country in every event.

What would you like to see less of?

We believe it’s time to break away from traditional patterns and rules that many couples feel obligated to follow. The most memorable events are those that embrace innovative and daring ideas, moving away from formality to allow for a more natural flow. We encourage our clients to prioritize their genuine enjoyment and desires over guests’ expectations, as this is where the most special moments emerge.

A styling/planning tip or two you’ve learned along the way that you’d give to any couple?

Trust the process and the suppliers you choose; each specialist knows how to do their job best. Effective communication is key to enjoying the planning process: clearly define what you like and what you don’t during the creative development phase. Lastly, always remember that small details can make a significant difference in creating a memorable and personalized wedding experience.
