Behind The Brand

What draws you wedding photography?

I have always had an enormous passion and love for documenting raw and authentic moments. The different emotions of a wedding day is something that I absolutely love capturing. To be completely honest, I just love being a part of someones most special day and being able to capture the magic that’s involved. Before starting my career as a wedding photographer, I began my photography journey at only the age of 15, shooting my first wedding. The initial stages of my studied involved being at RMIT studying Bachelor in Photography and hoping to specialize in fashion but went into further studies, studying my Masters in Teaching Photography at The University of Melbourne. During my career as a photography teacher, I had picked up a few more weddings that were our friends and family and found myself to grow an enormous love for a special day. I love giving our images a touch of my personal style in what I love which is, simplicity, elegance and authenticity. I remember the first few weddings I had shot, the feedback I would get from our couples would be that I had a calming and patient nature, and I would have to thank my teaching career that enabled me to bring that to our couples.

How would you describe your photography style?

There is an honest way in how we capture love, and I think that is capturing real emotions, real moments in the most warm and authentic way. I love intertwining this with our unique style of elegance, giving our photographs a timeless touch. 

What inspires you creatively?

I am forever inspired by authenticity, elegance and documenting the in-between moments of our couples that make our images magical. 

What is it that makes an image magical?

“When capturing weddings, I love bringing an element of my style; simplicity, elegance, and authenticity.”

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

Choose someone who speaks to you. Their style, their energy. No matter what price they may be, I’m a huge believer in choosing your photographer that you absolutely love. A photographer for your wedding is by far I think the best investment as it’s the only thing that is left.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

Oh my goodness, every where and anywhere in Europe is an absolute dream. I think at this stage I would love to shoot a wedding in Paris & Spain as I’m still yet to. 2023 will be the year where we focus more on destination weddings as we’ll be there between June – early September.
