What draws you to wedding photography?

It’s the call to do one of the most important jobs there is – to capture a fleeting and once-in-a-lifetime celebration in all its beauty in the most authentic yet distinct way possible. We enjoy being responsible for this because we have done this well, and there is no better fulfillment than the joy we are able to give our clients. 

How would you describe your photography style?

We like to call it ‘elegance, elevated’. We believe that the most distinct of frames and the most captivating of stories in photographs are created through careful thought, inherent creativity, and more than a decade of experience – making the pursuit of what’s perfect in every moment possible.

What inspires you creatively?

It is knowing that each couple has their unique wedding love story to tell. It can be the same venue, same season, and same suppliers, but how to relive their wedding day through photographs should always be unmistakably theirs. To elicit that distinction in every wedding inspires us and drives us.

What is it that makes an image magical?

When an image draws people’s attention because, they get it right away, they understand it, they feel it and yet if they want to look even more closely, that image reveals itself even more.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

Choosing a wedding photographer could be the most overwhelming thing, but couples can make it simple by paying attention to two items – track record and gut feel. 

They would want someone highly reliable and with a proven track record to handle the photos of the most important (and likely most expensive) moment in their lives. Once that has been shortlisted, they should trust their gut; they’ll know when they’ve found the other ‘the one’.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

We do love to test the limits of wedding photography when the opportunity arises, so maybe in Antarctica.
