Behind The Brand

What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?

With over a decade of event planning and production experience, I have had the pleasure of working with some of the world’s most renowned brands, from music festivals to fashion shows. This experience was the building blocks behind creating ‘Mose &’.

My obsession with events started from an early age, my mother used to work on the events team for our local radio station. I grew up going to the events she organized and thought she had the coolest job.

I went on to study Fashion at university knowing full well at the end of my three years, I wanted to move to London to work in Fashion Events – and, that is exactly what I did.  After a whirlwind career, moving from fashion to drinks I finally landed my ‘dream’ job – working with huge brands to create experiences across 38 of UK’s largest music festivals.

In 2020 the pandemic hit and music festivals ground to a halt. I always intended on going back to work, but in the meantime, I set up Mose & to help people find safe ways to celebrate the milestones that were passing them by. From micro-weddings to garden parties of 6, it was the best and most rewarding way to spend my lockdown.

As the year passed us by and the world started opening up, garden parties turned into bigger events with brands and private clients and micro-weddings turned into intricately designed large weddings. My dream of creating and designing events for my own clients was happening under my nose and it really was a now or never moment. I decided not to return to work and committed myself fully to my passion. And that was when the ‘Mose &’ studio was born!

I adore my work and truly believe it’s the biggest honor to help my clients celebrate life’s biggest milestones.

What services do you offer couples?

We offer full service wedding planning and wedding design.

All of our services are fully bespoke, we get to know you and your needs and build a proposal to suit your requirements, allowing you to get involved in the elements you love and alleviate any elements that you don’t enjoy planning.

Our approach is collaborative and fun. We’re here every step of the way to support you. We love what we do and we want you to remember the lead up to your wedding as an exciting, stress-free time that you look back on with fond memories.

How would you describe your aesthetic?

Modern, minimalist, luxury, chic and effortless.

As a planner or stylist, what are you inspired by at the moment in the world of weddings?

Color is coming back in a big way and we’re enjoying finding new ways to incorporate it subtly alongside our signature minimalist aesthetic.

We’re also very inspired by travel and beautiful landscapes. We are doing a lot of exploration for our couple’s multi-day celebrations, incorporating carefully crafted itineraries around the wedding day so that guests can fully immerse themselves in the culture of their wedding destination, for a true sense of escapism.

What would you like to see less of?

The same destination. We adore working internationally but location trends guide couples to the same destinations year after year. There are so many incredible, less discovered locations, I’d love to see more weddings being executed in.

A styling/planning tip or two you’ve learned along the way that you’d give to any couple?

Hire a planner or stylist who invests time in getting to know you. I truly believe your guests should see your personalities shining bright throughout your wedding day, this can be done through the design of your wedding with a planner who is invested in you.

Always style in odd numbers – candles, flowers, props and accessories always look better in 3’s, 5’s, 7’s…
