What draws you to wedding photography?

We love that we get to create compelling images with purpose. For us, it’s about intuitively mirroring every emotional intricacy of the day, from the first loving gaze to the last stolen kiss. There’s something so beautiful about capturing those unspoken moments and immortalizing them, letting our couple’s legacy of love live on in a tangible way.

How would you describe your photography style?

Our signature style can be described as a blend of classic portraiture and elegant craftsmanship, and those carefully framed un-missable moments that come and go as quickly as they’re felt. We capture memories with a documentary-style, candid approach, and believe the real and raw are the key to captivating & honest storytelling. We’re often recognized by our signature editorial style, because our imagery is clean and refined, with an adoration for the graceful and timeless.

What inspires you creatively?

As documentary-style photographers and filmmakers, we are driven by the desire to capture the poetry of each fleeting moment with intention and depth. Each of our couple’s love stories are so uniquely intricate. The joy in our creative process is found in the opportunity we have to share each one in a visually-stunning and timeless portrayal that feels curated, rather than manufactured, and is entirely their own.

What is it that makes an image magical?

The moment behind it! Images are memories, and memories are perfectly-captured moments. There’s nothing more magical than capturing the little details of a couple’s big day, and hearing how much it means to them that we captured them with grace and honesty.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

Find a photographer whose work and identity you truly connect with. Your photographer and film-maker are the vendors that you’ll be spending the most time with on your wedding day, and whose work you’ll be looking back at after the wedding the most often, so making sure that you get along with them personally and trust them fully is a must!

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

Right now, it’s probably New York and Paris! Architectural grandeur, classic art, rich culture, and iconic city streets are what make up a dream backdrop for a wedding, giving us endless possibilities for the most idyllic and captivating wedding photos. Whatever the city we capture, a dream location is always one where we’ve explored the hidden gems and iconic landwards alike, capturing both the undiscovered and the renowned.
