Behind The Brand

What draws you to wedding photography?

Telling the story. I love the moments I get to capture and how every wedding is unique in its own way. I view the wedding day as a storybook, and I want the couple to reflect on their special day for years to come

How would you describe your photography style?

Documentary. I capture moments as they occur, weaving together stories that make up the wedding day: your guests reactions, your parents tears, your joy… The majority of my work is candid. I want to give you a truthful depiction of your day.

What inspires you creatively?

People: I absolutely love people watching. I feel like you can tell so much from a person just by how they interact with others in public spaces.

Emotion: Tears of laughter, hugs, joy – Human emotion is beyond inspiring to me.

Cinema: I also love watching movies and being inspired through cinematography. My favorite movies that inspire me creatively are Emma, Little Women, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, just to name a few!

Architecture: Buildings with character, brick, window light. I love unique/old builds.

What is it that makes an image magical?

The emotion depicted from it. Photos should tell a story, allowing you to relive moments over and over again.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

Personality and comfort are key. Your photographer will be with you throughout your wedding day, seeing every aspect of it and sharing in your most intimate moments – even the tears. That’s why it’s so important to have a genuine connection and feel completely at ease with your photographer of choice. When you do, that’s when the magic happens.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

So many places! Oheka Castle, Amalfi Coast, Greece, Scotland, and the list goes on. I love traveling for weddings.
