Behind the Brand

What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?

Born from a love of design, interiors, and curating experiences, Paloma Events began with a focus on creating beautiful and memorable wedding days for couples looking for a relaxed, nurturing wedding planning experience without comprising on aesthetics or execution.

With 10 years of experience in corporate and creative industries, we combine our understanding of events and interiors with strong project management and attention to detail, ensuring you are supported throughout your entire wedding planning journey by a team who are warm, fun and excited to watch you marry the love of your life.

What services do you offer couples?

We offer full and partial wedding planning, and bespoke design and styling services. Each wedding journey is unique, and we tailor our offerings to each client, ensuring that we are able to support you throughout your entire planning process and execute our joint vision with seemingly effortless ease.

On the wedding day, we pride ourselves on our calm, supportive approach and will anticipate your every need, ensuring that you can stay fully present in the wedding day and enjoy each and every moment.

How would you describe your aesthetic?

Our aesthetic is curated and refined, yet still overflowing with personality and flexible to the unique style of our couples. We endeavour to design wedding days that feel effortlessly like each of our couples; from the smallest of details, through to the big features, we’ll understand you and your partner’s vision and personal style, and use that as the creative springboard for our event design.

Our studio is nestled by the sea on the NSW South Coast, we love to design weddings that feel natural and organic, and take inspiration from our environment. We have a soft spot for outdoor weddings by the sea, but will happily design.

As a planner or stylist, what are you inspired by at the moment in the world of weddings?

We are currently drawing inspiration from the worlds of high fashion, art and food culture. Opulent and avant guard food styling, European design influences and sleek minimalism are all design styles that you’ll see more of in our work over the next 12 months. We’re really inspired by the layering of textures to create visual impact, and are dreaming up concepts with new materials and mediums to create beautifully unique wedding designs for our couples.

What would you like to see less of?

There’s no one particular trend or movement we are actively avoiding; instead, we like to think about how we can turn something around to be new and innovative, and most importantly, aligned to the overall vision and style of the wedding day itself.

A styling/planning tip or two you’ve learned along the way that you’d give to any couple?

Our biggest tip for couples planning their wedding day would be to set a clear vision for how you want the day to feel, rather than just how the day should look. Using guest experience as your north star throughout your planning journey will ensure an unforgettable wedding day that prioritizes what’s most important to you and your loved ones.
