Behind The Brand
What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?
The brand began with Guadalupe, she had a company that exported things for interior design but this job had her traveling and away from her kids. She was always great at throwing a party so she had the idea to start Penzi. This way she could do what she likes and be home close to her kids.
What services do you offer couples?
We offer a complete planning service where we take care of everything from the coordination of the wedding to designing events and catering.
How would you describe your aesthetic?
Elegant, chic and timeless. We love to use the surrounding beauty to compliment the event.
As a planner or stylist, what are you inspired by at the moment in the world of weddings?
We are inspired by different cultures around the world, we love traveling at Penzi and we try to stay in tendency with everything going on around the world. Although what truly inspires us are our beautiful surroundings in San Miguel de Allende.
What would you like to see less of?
Cake cutting at weddings, they tend to be forgotten by the time the guest needs to eat them and they go to waste. We love a small beautiful cake that is only for the tradition and the picture.
A styling/planning tip or two you’ve learned along the way that you’d give to any couple?
Never forget yourself and both of your personalities. We think our weddings and all weddings should show the couples true self, who they are and what they are like.
