What draws you to wedding photography?

There’s something profoundly special about being invited into such a meaningful, intimate day. Wedding photography goes beyond documenting; it’s about preserving emotion with intention. We’re drawn to the quiet moments, the beauty in thoughtful details, and the way light and emotion moves through a space.

At the core of photographing a wedding is storytelling. Each couple brings their own rhythm, and we’re inspired by the challenge of capturing it in a way that feels honest, elegant and timeless. It allows us to blend our love for art, human connection and visual storytelling, all within one beautiful day.

How would you describe your photography style?

Plein Air Studyo embodies the essence of love through a contemporary, editorial approach, drawing inspiration from the three pillars of French Impressionism: natural light, colour, and movement. By recognising weddings as uniquely beautiful, our mission is to uncover the profound moments that transcend the wedding day itself. Plein Air Studyo captures weddings worldwide, aiming to immortalise the genuine spirit of love across diverse cultures in some of the most magical cities in the world.

What inspires you creatively?

Art, travel, and the way light moves through a space. We take inspiration from classic European cinema, impressionist paintings, and the natural world; where beauty is never forced but effortlessly unfolds. Each couple’s story is unique, and we love the challenge of capturing their connection in a way that feels authentic.

What is it that makes an image magical?

We believe an image becomes magical when it evokes a feeling, when it transports you back to the way a moment felt rather than just how it looked. It’s in the in-between moments, the softness of natural light, the movement of fabric in the wind, and the unfiltered expressions of love.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

Find someone whose work resonates with you emotionally. Beyond style and composition, your photographer should have an intuitive understanding of your story and the ability to document it with artistry and care. Chemistry is just as important as aesthetics; you’ll be spending your entire wedding day together, so choose someone who makes you feel at ease.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

A historic château in the lavender fields of Provence, where the golden light dances through the trees. An intimate seaside villa on the Amalfi Coast, steeped in old-world charm. Or a hidden estate along the Aegean coastline of Turkey, where whitewashed stone meets the deep blue sea. Anywhere with a story, a sense of romance, and a breathtaking backdrop.
