Born in Mexico City, PYM WEDDINGS was created from the need to craft wedding films that are different— where creativity, romance, and storytelling come together.

We are a boutique team, taking on only a select number of weddings each year, because connecting with our couples is at the heart of everything we do. Every love story is unique, and we believe wedding films should reflect that—timeless, filled with emotion, and deeply personal.

What draws you to wedding videography?

Creating wedding films is both a tremendous responsibility and one of the greatest satisfactions we can experience. We have the privilege of preserving memories for our clients, allowing them to relive the moments that shaped their story and to discover those they might have missed in the whirlwind of their special day.

What makes this work truly special is the opportunity to collaborate with creative individuals who share the same purpose: to tell a love story in the most authentic way possible. Every wedding feels like that of a close friend. We are moved by every laugh, every kiss, and every tear we capture. But perhaps the most unexpected part of this journey has been discovering the endless ways in which people express their love. No two stories are the same, and that is what makes each film unique and profoundly special.

How would you describe your videography style?

Our style is deeply rooted in documentary techniques, but with a poetic and creative twist. We strive to capture every moment authentically while enhancing it with sound, music, and details that create a meaningful connection with our couples. We draw inspiration from films and design, blending raw, real moments with elevated sequences to create wedding films that feel like a heartfelt and romantic memory—one that lingers long acer the day has passed.

What inspires you creatively?

We always start with emotions. We love feeling deeply, crying during the couple’s first dance, getting excited during their first look and jumping alongside them at their celebration. We are constantly exploring new ways to tell our stories. Sometimes, we find answers in films, other times in photographs, books, paintings, or even unexpected moments of life. The root of our inspiration isn’t always easy to pinpoint, but the journey to find it is thrilling. And sometimes, that very search becomes the inspiration itself.

What is it that makes a film magical?

A wedding film becomes truly magical when it resonates not only with those who experienced the wedding firsthand but also with everyone else. We believe wedding films should feel deeply personal, yet they can also be stories that anyone can enjoy.

Love is a universal language—what changes is the way each couple expresses it. That’s why we believe wedding films have the power to teach us so much about a language we often think we already know.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding videographer?

The first piece of advice we would give to couples looking for a team to create their wedding film is to feel a connection. This connection should go both ways—between the couple and their team, and from the team back to the couple. It’s essential to find someone who is genuinely excited to tell your story. Don’t chase trends, as they come and go quickly. Your wedding film should be timeless, a reflection of your love that remains just as meaningful years from now as it is today.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

At PYM, we embrace the beauty of spontaneity over a preferred location. When we discover a space that ignites passion in our couples, we feel a profound sense of fulfillment. Our guiding principle is the light, and any environment that dances with its contrasts captivates us. With that said, we find that venues steeped in history resonate most deeply with our couples. A charming colonial hacienda, a majestic European castle, or a sprawling vineyard—these enchanting settings become the canvas upon which we weave unforgettable stories.
