Editor’s Notes

Why we love it…

A garden oasis right in the heart of Melbourne, this rare find is a spacious world of its own. Steeped in history, the gardens and mansion create a perfect backdrop for a classic modern wedding.

For the couple…

Who would love to embrace a natural garden setting for their ceremony and not have the stress and complication of having to leave for the reception at another venue; everything can be held at Rippon Lea.

Styling tips…

Create the perfect summer evening atmosphere pool-side by incorporating long tables with garden roses, loose linen napkins, and contemporary tableware. Keeping the styling color palette complementary to those of the sandy hues in the stone around the pool will bring visual cohesion to your reception.
