What draws you to wedding photography?
I’ve always been obsessed with love. But love is threaded through every part of a wedding day like a thread holding it all together.
How would you describe your photography style?
Romantic, dreamy, ethereal.
What inspires you creatively?
Renaissance paintings, light, little quirks that each couple has that is different to the last.
What is it that makes an image magical?
Feeling. If you can’t feel what’s going on in an image when you’re looking at it, it’s just an ordinary snap, probably going to go unnoticed.
What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?
It’s important that you find a photographer that “gets” you. When you choose someone that understands your vision, what you’re drawn to and the unique way the two of you are when you come together, your photographer will be able to see magic in every single moment that may go unnoticed by someone else, not just those “big” obvious ones.
Your dream location to shoot a wedding?
I love old cities, anything made of stone. Italy, the French country side.
