What draws you to wedding photography?

As a hopeless romantic, I’m drawn to wedding photography because it allows me to capture the raw, fleeting moments of love and connection between two people. It’s a privilege to use my skills to visually tell their unique story, which I hope will be cherished for generations. Each wedding signifies a profound commitment—the decision to spend a lifetime together. Being part of such a romantic and significant occasion is an absolute honour which I never take for granted. Every wedding is a unique narrative, and I treasure the chance to document these intimate, unforgettable moments.

How would you describe your photography style?

My photography style is a blend of timeless elegance and modern romance with a touch of editorial flair. I combine the beauty of film with the versatility of digital photography to create images that are both classic and contemporary, capturing the genuine emotions and depth of each special day. I also love candid moments and natural movement, which helps my couples relax and truly enjoy their day, resulting in authentic and memorable photographs.

What inspires you creatively?

I draw significant inspiration from the couples I photograph, captivated by their unique stories and the way their love unfolds. Traveling the world and immersing myself in diverse cultures enriches my creative vision, as each place offers its own vibrant story and palette of colours. This global perspective expands my horizon and deepens my artistry. Additionally, my two children, who are growing up too quickly, inspire me profoundly. Their fleeting moments of wonder and growth help me appreciate the preciousness of time, and this understanding deeply influences how I capture and preserve the essence of each wedding.

What is it that makes an image magical?

The magic of an image is often beyond words; it’s when a photograph evokes a profound emotional response that stirs something deep within us. Sometimes, an image resonates without explanation, touching our hearts in unexpected ways. I find this happens more often with film photography. It’s a blend of genuine emotion, perfect timing, and meticulous attention to detail that immortalises a moment just right. This harmonious combination creates images that not only preserve memories but also evoke a lasting emotional impact.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

When choosing a wedding photographer, consider asking: Have you fallen in love with their art? Does their work resonate with your vision of your wedding day? Do you feel a personal connection during your initial conversations? It’s important to feel comfortable with your photographer, as being in front of the camera can feel intimidating. A strong rapport will help you relax and enjoy your day.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

My dream wedding location would be a breathtaking destination that blends natural beauty with rich history—like a serene vineyard in Tuscany or the stunning coastal town of Positano along the Amalfi Coast. Both settings offer an incredible mix of romance and cultural depth, providing the perfect backdrop for capturing truly unforgettable moments.
