Time is finite so ensure you do well – honeymoon or traveling.
What was the spark for Skye Window House? Where did the story begin?
We visited Skye many years ago, fell in love with the landscape and formed the image of a window upon it. Lucky enough to find the perfect spot and set about dreaming our dream home.
What inspires you creatively?
Beauty and it’s structures, music, art and literature – any enduring theme really.
A locals tip / must see when traveling to Skye?
So many things, walking, climbing, boat adventure, wild swimming , beaches, deer stalking, Fairy Pools, dinosaur footprints. Most importantly do little while enjoying every moment. Our favourite place is Camus Daraich (hidden) beach at the Point of Sleat – bracing!
What to pack on a trip to Skye?
Walking shoes are helpful and swimwear!
On a typical weekend we’ll find you?
Under a tree in an apple orchard with a good book.
