What rooms/spaces do you have available for a wedding?

Providing the architectural backdrop of your dreams combined with service and effortless style that is tailor-made just for you, your wedding at The Calile Hotel will be an enduring pleasure that extends far beyond your ‘I Do’.

Our Stunning Grand Room is a multifaceted event space that can cater from 30 people up to 250 people. This unique, pillarless event space features plentiful natural light, elegant design, and the ability to be divided into four smaller spaces. With our stunning neutral colour palette, styling can be as simple or as grand as you make it.

Whether you are planning an intimate soirée or a grand ballroom celebration with a guest list to match, The Calile Hotel can accommodate your special day with a range of spaces also available for your ceremony.

How many people can each of these cater for?

For weddings up to 80 people, we recommend a ceremony on the stunning Function Terrace space before revealing Grand Room III and IV for a night of food and festivities. If your guest list is ever-growing, the Amphitheatre is perfect for up to 150 people for your ‘I Do’ before heading downstairs to Grand Rooms I and II and our poolside reception space to continue the celebrations.

For weddings of 200 people, we suggest a rooftop ceremony (seven) levels above the rest and the full Grand Room for your reception.

If you’re looking for the ultimate wedding, look no further than our premium rooftop event space, complete with catering facilities and custom marquee. With guests enjoying acoustic music as the sun sets over Brisbane city, this will be a magical night to remember.

Do you offer onsite accommodation?

Stay the night before in one of our Suites as an extension of your wedding package and spend the day relaxing and getting wedding-ready in style. Add bridal bites and beverages throughout the day to ease the nerves before it is time to walk down the aisle.

All your guests will also receive an exclusive accommodation offer so they can recover poolside in-style.

What additional features and facilities does your venue offer that couples may find useful?

Relax on your special day knowing your Wedding Coordinator and Banquets Manager will look after all of the finishing touches that happen behind the scenes. This will leave plenty of time to celebrate with your beloved and family and friends without having to lift a finger.

Beyond the venue itself, The Calile Hotel is an Urban Resort and part of vibrant The James Street Precinct offering leisure facilities including an award-winning poolside restaurant, gymnasium, day spa, and over 150 fashion boutiques and bars. Guests are invited to experience all the ease and comfort of a resort stay with the convenience of an inner-city urban setting.

One of the benefits of The Calile is that the function spaces lend themselves to any style – embrace the natural finishings and neutral tones or use it as a blank canvas to create something truly unique. With multiple function spaces available, everyone will be able to find something that suits their special day.

Knowing that guests do not have to travel between the ceremony, reception, accommodation and poolside recovery is one of the many reasons why our couples choose us as a venue, especially those with international or interstate guests.

Your best advice for honeymoon/vacation planning?
