About The Panama Dining Room

Contemporary, industrial, and quintessentially Melbourne, Panama Dining Room is perched high above Smith Street on the third floor of a former textile factory, aptly named, ‘Panama House’.

Located in the heart of Melbourne’s most vibrant and burgeoning hospitality district, our warehouse space blends eclectic design with classic furnishings to stunning effect.

Upon entering our venue, you will be struck by the spacious and atmospheric nature of the room, punctuated by seven stunning floor-to-ceiling arch windows that provide panoramic views of the Dandenong Ranges through our Smith Street windows, and Melbourne's CBD through our Moor Street windows.

Behind The Brand

What rooms/spaces do you have available for a wedding?

Our entire venue is available for both your ceremony and reception.

How many people can each of these cater for?

We are licensed to hold 200 guests.

Do you offer onsite accommodation?

No. However being in the heart of Melbourne there are numerous options close by in the CDB.

What additional features and facilities does your venue offer that couples may find useful?

Being a modern industrial warehouse with stunning floor-to-ceiling arched windows, we overlook the treetops from our third-floor location. But never fear; we have an elevator located on street level for disabled access.

What type of couple would fall in love with your venue and why?

Couples looking for a unique, expansive, inner-city venue who appreciate restaurant-quality food and wine. And without a doubt, couples fall in love with our iconic arched windows, backdropped with flood-lit Plane trees at night.

Editor’s Notes

Why we love it…

Located high above the streets this is the perfect year-round venue for an intimate ceremony framed by arched windowpanes with endless views.

For the couple…

Wanting an inner-city venue that is a perfect mix of both warehouse, cocktail bar vibe and a classy restaurant.

Styling tips…

Create an elegant atmosphere with pillar candles en masse, fine stemmed cutlery, textual velvet napery, and crystal cut glassware. Work with your floral artist to create sculptural installations that frame the windows with refinement, adding to their elegance rather than overwhelming the view.
