Founded in March of 2015, Theoni Collection offers an artful selection of hand-sourced event decor and tabletop accessories that inspire creativity and elevate what’s possible.

Their collection is influenced by a love of timeless traditions, old-world European style, and an unrelenting belief in quality. They’re dedicated to providing artful customer service and highly-curated decor items that you can’t find elsewhere. Your advice for styling tablescapes for events, or home entertaining?

We love the magic that flowers bring to any tabletop and the way their shape and colors help to dictate the overall aesthetic, whether it’s a soirée for hundreds, or an intimate backyard dinner for your closest friends. Have fun with your creativity and honor the beauty of the simple details. Every little touch can elevate your design—whether it’s a unique chair, the flare of a single accent glass, or even the texture of a charger. Don’t be afraid to mix and match patterns and colors and use tabletop accessories like serveware, salt and pepper sets, or even an oil cruet to add character and unexpected patterns and hues to your tablescape.

What was the spark for Theoni Collection? Where did the story begin?

The story begins around a table—where memories and ideas are often created and nurtured—with a desire to deliver an unmatched collection of event rentals that elevates what’s possible for event design. Whether it’s a unique table, an elegant champagne flute, or the very best of European fine china, we traveled the world to hand-source a collection that would inspire creativity and push the envelope for imaginative event designs.

What inspires you creatively?

We are inspired by the beauty in the world around us—nature, art, travel, fashion, the art of old world luxury, the magic of entertaining, and all of the talented creatives that we collaborate with on a daily basis. Above all, we are drawn to those things that are classic and timeless and never go out of style.

Most memorable place you’ve travelled?

While so many places stand out, we love some of the memorable places that we’ve visited to source some of our collection—like the porcelain factories of Limoges, France or the seaside towns in Italy where artisans handcraft furniture and designs that lend themselves bringing people together over a shared meal or celebration.

On a typical weekend we’ll find you?

If I’m not doing some entertaining of my own, you can find me swooning over one of the many events produced by the amazing designers, florists, event producers, and dreamers that we work with every day. I love creating and making memories, and there is an unmatched joy in witnessing people coming together around an artfully dressed table.
