Behind The Brand

What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?

At the age of 21, Emma, the Founder of Timeless White, launched the company while studying at University. Inspired by the concept of pursuing a career dream and creating classic weddings that would stand the test of time and put the joy of the day at the heart of it all. Since then, the business has grown to a team of three full-time planners and Timeless White’s commitment to excellence and passion for creating unforgettable experiences has earned them a reputation as one of Scotland’s most coveted wedding planners.

What services do you offer couples?

Timeless White offer a fully comprehensive wedding planning service, with the ability to support several days worth of events for local and destination couples being married anywhere in Scotland.

How would you describe your aesthetic?

The clue is in the name! Timelessness is our aesthetic north-star. The ultimate goal is to design each couple a wedding that feels deeply authentic to them which naturally suits the various spaces the wedding will utilize. Our dream mood board would feature a chequered dancefloor, blousy florals, champagne tower, epic evening lighting and clean lines throughout. Each element is chosen with meticulous care, ensuring that every detail contributes to an unforgettable experience.

As a planner or stylist, what are you inspired by at the moment in the world of weddings?

Our clients concepts are our inspiration on every Wedding. Thanks to our dream clients being so on the ball, each year we are lucky to craft unique wedding formats, infusing different cultural traditions and to experience new suppliers from around the world. This is invaluable in adding to our capabilities and ideas for the future. We are especially inspired by the challenge of delivering weddings in new or unusual settings. We also have a secret Planner crush on Alice Wilkes design…

What would you like to see less of?

Wedding budgets being blown on items rather than experiences. Focus on the moments you’ll feel, for they are what you and your guests will truly hold on to once the day is done. A great aesthetic and styling may generate a handful of gasps but a dancefloor full of people, arm-in-arm singing back the lyrics of Bill Withers’ “Lean on Me” will be fondly etched in every attendees heart indefinitely (Wedding planners included!).

A styling/planning tip or two you’ve learned along the way that you’d give to any couple?

Trust your intuition when it comes to vendor selection – including your Planner! In our experience, couples are very rarely wrong about what feels right for them, especially when the decisions pertain to such a personal and emotionally important day.

Address the planning in a logical order, guided by a planning professional, to avoid a build-up of areas requiring your attention at once or having to double-back on work you’ve already done.
