 What draws you to wedding photography?

What draws me to wedding photography is my deep love for love itself. I’m a hopeless romantic, with a vivid imagination and a passion for creativity. Growing up in a very loving family, I was surrounded by the kind of enduring love that my parents shared—they’ve always been my relationship goals. This personal background fuels my desire to capture the unique, heartfelt moments of each couple’s special day. For me, wedding photography is more than just documenting an event; it’s about celebrating love in its purest form and creating lasting memories that reflect the beauty and emotion of each love story.

How would you describe your photography style?

“Life Mirrors Art. Art Reflects Life.” This belief is at the heart of my photography, where each image is crafted as a piece of visual poetry.

Inspired by my father’s words, “a photo without a story is like a flower without colours,” I strive to create images that not only capture moments but also evoke the emotions and stories behind them. Every love story is different, each one a unique melody, and I cherish the opportunity to connect with my couples on a personal level. By understanding your journey, I can tell your story in your way, weaving together the authentic, tender moments that define your love. My photography transforms these fleeting instances into timeless art, creating visual heirlooms that celebrate the beauty and depth of your love, preserving it for generations to come.

What inspires you creatively?

Nature, with all its grace and splendor, is my muse, and it’s within these landscapes that I find the inspiration to create art that mirrors the depth and wonder of love itself. Originally from Hong Kong, I was surrounded by meaningful human connections that deeply shaped my understanding of love and relationships. Yet, I always found myself yearning for the serenity that only nature can offer. That longing was fulfilled when I moved to Germany, where the delicate blooms of flower fields, the steadfastness of mountains, and the calming embrace of water became the elements that speak to my soul. These natural wonders reflect the emotions and stories I seek to capture through my lens.

What is it that makes an image magical?

What makes an image magical is its power to transcend the ordinary and resonate on a deeper level, where it isn’t just seen—it’s experienced. A truly magical image whispers to the soul, pulling you into the heart of the moment, allowing you to feel the breeze, hear the laughter, and sense the warmth of the light. It’s as if the photograph holds a piece of time within it, inviting you to step inside and live the emotions captured there. This alchemy of technical precision and heartfelt connection is what transforms a fleeting moment into a timeless memory, making the image linger long after the first glance.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

When selecting your wedding photographer, I would advise couples to look beyond just the portfolio and focus on finding someone whose style resonates with your vision and whose personality aligns with your own. Your photographer will be with you during some of the most intimate moments of your day, so it’s crucial to choose someone you feel comfortable with, who truly understands your story, and who can capture it authentically. Take the time to meet with potential photographers, ask about their approach, and ensure they’re passionate about telling your unique love story. Trust your instincts, and choose someone who sees your day not just as an event to document, but as a narrative to craft with care and creativity.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

My dream location to shoot a wedding would be somewhere that blends the raw beauty of nature with a sense of timeless romance—perhaps a secluded cliffside overlooking the ocean at sunset, where the waves crash against the rocks and the golden light dances on the water. Alternatively, a serene meadow nestled in the mountains, surrounded by wildflowers and towering trees, would be equally enchanting.

Ultimately, it’s not just about the location itself, but the way it complements the couple’s story, creating a backdrop that enhances their love and allows me to capture those magical, unforgettable moments in a setting as unique as they are.
