Vik is the founder of Isle Studio and has designed the first ever Bespoke Wedding Books for his clients and the wedding industry. These books are not just albums but bespoke narratives of each couple's love story, crafted with sophisticated printing and binding techniques for a timeless keepsake.
He has a diverse and global perspective, bringing in a family heritage in bookmaking to his work, and offering unique, deeply personal experiences for his clients.

What draws you to wedding photography?
I’m drawn to wedding photography because it allows me to be part of something timeless and unforgettable. Capturing moments that will live on forever in someone’s memory is incredibly meaningful to me. Additionally, being able to contribute to someone’s happiest day and immortalize the joy and love they share is a privilege I deeply appreciate. My upbringing, influenced by old-school Bollywood movies that romanticize life, instilled in me a reverence for the significance of weddings. Lastly, I see marriage as a spiritual initiation, and to capture these sacred moments feels like fulfilling my purpose.
How would you describe your photography style?
My photography style is timeless, emphasizing natural light to enhance the essence of each moment. I believe in leaving out the unnecessary, focusing solely on capturing the essential elements that convey the story. My preference for monochrome adds an elegant and classy touch to my work. I strive to avoid staging moments, preferring to let them unfold naturally.
What inspires you creatively?
I draw inspiration from life, human relationships, and the natural world around us. I’m also deeply inspired by mastery across various disciplines, such as music, design, art, fashion, and architecture. Observing excellence in these fields motivates me to strive for mastery in my craft as well. I approach my work with the mindset of a relentless curator, constantly refining my appreciation for beauty and nature while seeking to elevate my artistic expression.
What is it that makes an image magical?
An image attains a sense of magic when an intricate interplay of abstract elements unfolds in a split second, creating a harmonious fusion that transcends the ordinary. This isn’t easily defined; it’s the result of countless variables working together perfectly to evoke emotion, spark imagination, and transport observers to a realm where reality and reverie intertwine.
What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?
Trust your gut instincts. It’s an energy exchange and you want to feel comfortable around this person because they’ll be with you in some of the most intimate moments of life.
