From there we add our professional creative expertise to create the perfect wedding for every couple and their guests. Not only do we specialize in weddings, but also in milestone events.

Behind The Brand

What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?

Vows began at our family property, Herdade da Agolada de Cima, located in the countryside. Originally, it was a house used for our family’s summer holidays and hunting trips. Recognizing the potential to utilize the natural surroundings, in 2002 my mother decided to transform it into a venue for weddings and events. She invested in building a proper 300sqm tent, acquired event furniture, and officially opened for business. Demand grew steadily, and since then, every summer we have hosted numerous events. In 2019, after nearly 20 years of operation, my mother passed ownership of the brand to me. Since then, we’ve focused on attracting an international clientele and enhancing our reputation for creative, high-end events.

What services do you offer couples?

We provide comprehensive event planning and coordination services, managing every detail from start to finish. This includes recommending and collaborating with top-quality and reliable suppliers across all aspects such as entertainment, catering, infrastructure, and decoration.

How would you describe your aesthetic?

Our aesthetic is characterized by its simplicity, cleanliness, and elegance. We strive for sophistication and refinement in every detail.

As a planner or stylist, what inspires you at the moment in the world of weddings?

I am currently inspired by creativity and innovation in event design, particularly in breaking away from traditional structures. I find extraordinary talent in entertainment and live performances especially inspiring, as well as excellence in quality across all elements of an event—from food and decor to stationary and overall presentation.

What would you like to see less of?

I hope to see fewer low-quality events overall, characterized by poor service, organization, and decor. Additionally, I believe couples deserve better guidance and support throughout the wedding planning process, with fair pricing and transparent advice.

A styling/planning tip or two you’ve learned along the way that you’d give to any couple?

I always advise couples to find a planner they truly connect with and trust. Building a strong relationship with your planner is crucial for navigating the complexities of wedding planning and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. Taking the process step by step and making decisions collaboratively helps to create a wedding day that truly reflects your vision and values.
