Behind The Brand

What draws you to wedding photography?

The LOVE! No, but seriously, the energy you receive at a wedding is indescribable; being able to capture the pure joy and love of people has been a dream of ours. Working with each other in such environments leaves us feeling fulfilled, especially knowing we are creating something that will last a lifetime, often being shown to generations to come.

How would you describe your photography style?

Documentary with a touch of editorial, focusing on the small, fleeting moments that often go missed. Through both our endless travels, we enjoy capturing motion, landscapes, and people. On top of this, we have worked within the fashion industry for many years and love merging the two. We want the images to tell the whole story of the day. We also tend to see things from different perspectives so when we put our images together we truly see the whole picture.

What inspires you creatively?

Everyday life, the seemingly insignificant details within a day that are truly beautiful. How the sunlight reflects off a pool and shimmers on a nearby wall. The mini rainbow formed from the mist of a man watering his lawn. Being two Sagittarius’s (sorry if that means nothing to you) we thrive when travelling – seeing new landscapes, architecture, cultures and people.

What is it that makes an image magical?

The raw, real emotions — every tear, every laughter, every loving glance. Pair this with some glorious light or a moody overcast day, and we have a story being told. We LOVE an image that makes you feel something.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

Almost as important as finding someone with style you like, we feel it’s also so important to see how you jive with them. If you connect with a prospective photographer, this connection will surely translate into more meaningful and intimate photos.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

Anywhere new! But we can never go past a quintessential home in the Italian/French country side oozing with culture and love. This paired with a bunch of film photography is our favourite!
