Ethereal Revelry
An ethereal tablescape spilling with romance and revelry, inside the historic walls of a 13th-century medieval priory.
Inside the timeworn walls of 13th-century medieval priory Black Friars, UK stylist Rebecca Marie dreams up an ethereal reception spilling with romance and revelry. Ephemeral layers in bold proportions drape and frame the tablescape, softening the historic surrounds and artfully reveal layers of whimsical details.
In painterly palettes mirroring the historic facades, fabrics fall over table edges, wildflowers are held by organically shaped ceramics and smoke-like plumes of Queen Anne’s lace are illuminated by ambient candlelight, poetically captured by Courtney Marie.
“Never underestimate the power of fabric to soften industrial or modern spaces. If you are going for a venue steeped in history, paired with the right florals you can deliver a modern, high-end finish amongst the secret-rich walls.” – Stylist, Rebecca Marie
