Grew & Co 2018 Campaign

Photography by Darren McDonald

Artful collisions of geometric shaped diamonds, jewel tones and delicate bands – Sydney’s Grew & Co are forging a new path in fine jewelry. Unbound by tradition, yet uninfluenced by trends, their collections sit in a league of their own.

“There’s a movement away from traditional cuts and commercial perfection, to creative pieces that feel beautifully raw and undone.”

While the wedding industry has shape-shifted from traditional to wildly experimental, we’ve seen a myriad of fine jewelry labels follow suit. There’s a movement away from traditional cuts and commercial perfection, to creative pieces that feel beautifully raw and undone. But what separates Grew & Co is their inimitable balance of boldly artistic and beautifully timeless.

As creative souls, while we’re drawn to asymmetrical shapes, onyx stones and imperfectly shaped bands, there’s still an exquisite luxury and timelessness we’ll always look for in engagement pieces. And it’s in the marriage of both, that has propelled this family run business to one of the most sought after labels in fine jewelry, designing for a cult following of clients around the world.

A love story of husband and wife who first met at gemmology school – Grew & Co founders Simon and Gabrielle Grew create pieces grounded in ancient techniques and inspired by modern aesthetics. Designs that have spread like wildfire on social media over the last year – pinned on every fine jewellery Pinterest board and hidden away in secret Instagram folders. There’s a freshness to their work, and it stems from the energy they both exude as people – two of the most genuine, creative and down to earth artists that couples will ever have the pleasure of consulting with.

Since spotting the Grew & Co collection just a few years ago, captivated by their rare talent, we’ve been dreaming up some exciting plans with this forward thinking duo of late. Most recently, directing their latest jewelry campaign with musician Tash Wolf, photographed by Darren McDonald.
