“She was chaos and beauty intertwined. A tornado of roses from divine.” – Shakieb Orgun
In our search for wedding caterers, what we look for are culinary artists who create dining experiences that cohesively mirror the overall aesthetic of an event. Creatives who use food as their medium to paint in colour, texture and shape. Artists who create dishes infused with evocative, sensory details that mirror the landscape of a destination wedding, or transport your guests to a location that inspired your event.
We recently teamed up with one of the world’s most renowned event caterers, Studio Neon’s Aaron Teece (who has cooked for the likes of Kate Moss, and the Queen… and has just opened a new Sydney studio for local bespoke events). We gave Aaron a brief to design and bring to life a menu for a decadent lunch by the sea, set on the wild black sand beaches of Iceland…
Wild, oceanic, decadent, free-spirited, artistic
Stormy oceanic palettes inspired by Icelandic beaches. Inky hues evocative of wild seas, iridescent accents
Sea inspired textures, fluid shapes that mirror a shape-shifting ocean or the formation of smoke
Menu by Studio Neon
Mackerel, avocado puree, pickled cabbage, puffed rice, watercress
Sea urchin, uni foam, puffed grains
Lemon myrtle infused pineapple, vanilla pannacotta, gingerbread crumbs
