20 Non Traditional Bridal Looks From Spring ’23 Couture

From Fendi’s weightless fabrics to regal embellishment and textural winter looks at Chanel, the Spring ’23 Couture shows offer endless inspiration for non traditional wedding dresses.

A Parisian stage for fashion’s artful expression and honoring of artisanal techniques –  the Spring 2023 Couture shows offer endless inspiration for non-traditional wedding dresses.

Playing with the concept of lightness, Fendi presented weightless fabrics and floating silhouettes in pale evanescent tints. Perfect for elevated weddings by the sea, billowing silk sleeves trailed like tendrils from 90’s style slips and translucent fabrics extended into ethereal capes. For bridesmaids, we loved the dreamy palette of seafoam tints and iridescent fabrics at Fendi and Christian Dior.

Inspiring drama and decadence, Giambattista Valli showcased voluminous silhouettes, oversized bows and poufs offset with masterful draping and hints of skin. Elie Saab’s regal collection exuded grandeur, with gilded tones and tight-fitted mermaid dresses encrusted with crystals and pearls.

For winter weddings, we loved Chanel’s richly textured embroidery and lace draped with long winter coats, or Ronald Van Der Kemp’s modern pant suit with a sculptural, ruffled jacket and silk duchesse train.
