Danielle Frankel Spring ’19 Bridal

Here at The Lane, we revel in new talent and a fresh perspective when it comes to bridal, and Danielle Frankel is no exception. In only her second season since the brand’s debut in 2017, the designer stands out amongst the line up of bridal week with her modern, fashion forward, youthful approach and rich background in bridal design having previously worked under the wings of Marchesa and Vera Wang. Since then, she’s caught the eyes of the likes of Moda Operandi and Net-a-Porter, the latter exclusively launching the Spring ’19 collection online, the first of the kind for bridal wear by the major retailer. Mark our words, she’s one to watch.

Mood

Unexpected cuts and sculptural silhouettes made for a beautifully unexpected collection. Cami tops fell into trains, skin was bared with sheer puff-sleeved coats wrapped up into little crop tops and ankle skimming jumpsuits and dresses. Her signature tailoring came into play here, yet noted with a more relaxed, ready to wear approach, perfect for post wedding too.

Standout Moment

A leather belt wrapped around the waist of a bell dress, dotted with a strand of baroque pearls, across collarbones and down statement drop earrings. Equally as delicate as they are bold, a modern update from the classic pearl for a bride looking for something truely unique.
