About Beta Events

Built in the 1800s, our stunning heritage-listed building is the perfect backdrop to host all your special events. With high ceilings, exposed brickwork and original archways finished with stylish features, Beta is the perfect balance of contemporary and romantic design.

Beta can be looked at as a black canvas, beautiful in its own natural aesthetic but can be styled and transformed to suit the most extravagant visions. We cater to small and large events, from weddings to intimate gatherings, social celebrations, business meetings, and gala dinners. Our Executive Chef Peter Conistis has designed a menu that is not only generous in portion but beautifully presented with just the right amount of modern flair. Beta Bespoke events packages provide a truly unforgettable experience to make your event your own.

Behind The Brand

What rooms/spaces do you have available for a wedding?

We currently have one space – The Gallery. Featured in this space is an attached area, The Lobby, dressed in natural light and raw architecture. The Lobby is perfect for wedding ceremonies, pre-dinner drinks, and canapes, or for your more intimate dinners. The Lobby space is separated from The Gallery by beautifully carved wooden doors, giving you the opportunity to keep your main event hidden until the perfect moment.

How many people can each of these cater for?

The Gallery hosts up to 150 people banquet style, 130 banquet style with a dance floor, and 220 cocktail style.

Do you offer onsite accommodation?

We do not have accommodation on site but have affiliations with luxury hotels close by.

What additional features and facilities does your venue offer that couples may find useful?

We offer a wide range of bespoke enhancements to add to the experience of your event, from spirit tasting bars to champagne towers and interactive stations. Adjacent to The Gallery is a small outdoor courtyard which is perfect for when guests need a breath of fresh air in between dance brackets.

Located in the heart of the city, getting your guests to and from your event is easy with multiple transport options and parking only minutes away.
