Where are your gemstones and diamonds sourced from?

Hardy Brothers have developed a global network of supply chain partners to source high-quality diamonds and gemstones. Our heritage and knowledge of craft have afforded us the opportunity to forge meaningful relationships based on trust. We align ourselves with industry leaders that are coherent to certain operating codes, the Kimberly Process, and our established 5 policies that reduce the risk of violating environmental and human rights standards.

Do you offer a custom design service? If so, how long does it take to make a custom piece?

Distinguished by the Royal Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen, Hardy Brothers have served all sovereigns since George V and continues to serve Australian Leaders and families to craft pieces for a meaningful legacy. Our Bespoke services have always been underpinned by a commitment to creativity and personalized client service. Our suite of customization and commissioning services provide clients with direct access to our master craftsmen and a direct line for the most desired precious gems and diamonds.

The standard time frame for delivery of a Bespoke piece is 4 weeks. However, with the largest jewelry manufacturing workshop in the Southern Hemisphere, we have seen pieces delivered from bench to ballroom in 48 hours.

What is your most popular piece?

Our most popular engagement ring is the Paeonia. Each Paeonia is handcrafted by Hardy Brothers artisans in our workshop in Brisbane. The design has been carefully developed to accommodate all popular diamond cuts while remaining consistent in both form and function.

Recognized as a select Argyle Pink Diamond Atelier, Hardy Brothers affords clients the opportunity of attaining two Argyle Pink Diamonds with their piece. The Pink Diamonds are incorporated within the setting further adding to the unique design of the Paeonia engagement ring. It’s a unique opportunity that celebrates rarity, creativity, and uncompromising quality.

What advice would you give to a couple looking for their wedding jewelry?

Couples looking for their wedding jewelry should focus on the pieces that speak to them personally. There is no formula for finding the perfect pieces. Our advice is that when you see it, you’ll know it’s right.

What tips do you have for couples to care for their jewelry?

We recommend bringing your most special pieces in to be serviced every 6 to 12 months. A service with us is often relatively inexpensive and we’ll perform a full gem security check, and let you know if any work needs to be done to maintain the integrity of the piece. Every service is an investment in making sure your jewelry becomes an heirloom.
