About Saint Signora

Saint Signora was born from a desire to create a haven where beloved pieces could perch until finding the right dwelling to spend their remaining days in. Each piece is found with the desire to be an heirloom that is past down within a family. The same goes with our newer items and those handcrafted and by me…from the individual sheaves of handmade paper to the hand drawn seal designs inspired by the old world. I'm here to help you collect what you love- to curate with pieces that make a space a treasured sanctuary.

Behind The Brand

Your best piece of advice for event planning?

Don’t follow trends. I’m of the mindset of pulling from what inspires, not what the latest style is. Go with your instincts, not what are others are doing and you’ll find yourself producing something that is a representation of your skill rather than someone else’s.

What inspires you creatively?

Oh, gosh! So many things. I pull from old books, magazine clippings, or old documents. I hoard paper as the texture, type, and design can inspire me to create. I have stockpiles of design and interior books that I will look through as well. If I’m out on an antique buy, I’ll often take photographs of pieces that I can later use for designs as well. My goal is to try to find ‘original’ (or unique rather, as nothing is original) sources for inspiration. Through this whole process, I’ve gained momentum in my style and my clients and customers gravitate to me for that reason.

Most memorable place you’ve travelled?

I have many, but so far it’s been the French Countryside. I love a place where one can see as many chateaus as they desire, visit brocantes and markets to their hearts content, and at the end of the day celebrate with a good bottle of local wine.

On a typical weekend we’ll find you?

At an estate sale or junk store. I live for finding treasures.
