Table for Louis is a luxury brand offering luxury tableware for hire and a table styling service for weddings and all special occasions both private and corporate. Our specialty is supplying high quality and authentic tableware that is also unique and chic. Our table styling service will take any dining experience to the next level of sophistication and luxury. We are based on the Gold Coast, Queensland but service all of Australia.

Behind The Brand

What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?

After a few trips to Los Angeles to visit a friend I experienced gorgeous private at home lunching experiences where beautiful high quality tableware and linens were used. Stunning flowers were on the table. The effort made was appreciated by me and I realised that I didn’t see that back home in Australia. When I got back home I researched the availability of luxury tableware for hire for intimate dining events. There was nothing. I started off with a couple dinnerware and glassware hire options in luxury tableware for 30 people and now we supply many dinnerware and glassware hire options for 150 people

Your most popular hire items?

Our most popular hire times are our Waterford crystal glassware, Broste amber glassware, our Johnson Bros blue and white floral plates and our stoneware in mint.

What are you inspired by at the moment in the world of weddings?

I am inspired by the intimate, high quality weddings that are incorporating lots of color. It’s so refreshing. We offer many options in colored plates and glassware like our stoneware dinnerware in mint, blush and green. We have gorgeous colored wedding glassware with our Broste amber glasses and Villeroy + Boch crystal goblets in pink, blue and green

A décor styling/planning tip or two you’ve learned along the way that you’d give to any couple?

When it comes to choosing wedding tableware it is important to understand your menu and drinks being served. Consult your caterer to make sure you have the right tableware.

From a styling perspective don’t be afraid to add color or mix textures. All couples are able to make an appointment and come to our studio to choose wedding tableware hire. Often what couples had in mind for their wedding tablescape is different to what they end up with as they were able to see how colors and textures can be used.

Tell us about your hiring process and what couples should know beforehand?

Couples can go to our hire section of our website and create a wishlist of what they like and we will send a quote based on the list. We have minimum hire spend of $450. It is important to click on the picture of the item they like and a full description will be given incluiding numbers available.
