Behind The Brand

What draws you to wedding photography?

After studying reportage photography at university, I have always been drawn to human interaction and honest storytelling and seeing two souls come together with both their worlds is a really beautiful thing to capture. I love the flow of a wedding day and being a part of that; how the day unfolds from the slow pace of the morning to the extravagance of the evening, I love being a part of it all.

How would you describe your photography style?

Modern and romantic, told in a documentary style. I want my couples to feel when they look at their photos, like they are being transported back to that moment. Whether it’s a light touch or a fleeting glance or a running hug with guests. I love to use light to help elevate the moment photographically, which I effortlessly guide when needed.

What inspires you creatively?

Honest, in the moment, human connection, and light in every form.

What is it that makes an image magical?

I love how this can be so subjective but to me it is always about the light but it can also be that in between moment where you take a breath together a few moments away from the venue. It’s capturing adoring eyes of your loved ones or when the sky changes from orange to pink to blue as your day turns to night.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

Choose someone whose photos speak to you, who make you feel it in your chest. Speak with them and see if you connect.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

Neuendorf House in Majorca without a shadow of a doubt!
