What draws you to wedding photography?

Photography isn’t just a job for me – it’s one of my greatest sources of happiness. Every day, I have the privilege of pursuing my absolute passion, fueled by an authentic and unwavering drive that propels me forward in my creative journey. In 2012, I founded Taylor & Porter to channel my skills as a film photographer and draw on my degree in Photojournalism. What began as a vision has grown organically into a global brand, taking me around the world to document authentic moments for extraordinary people.

Being part of a wedding is always an honor. The soaring emotions, unfolding narratives, and fleeting in-between moments are a joy to capture. They keep me engaged and creatively inspired season after season, as no two celebrations are ever the same.

How would you describe your photography style?

I blend documentary and editorial styles in a modern and compelling way, capturing considered portraiture and editorial elements while maintaining documentary storytelling at the highest standards. As an emotionally collaborative photographer, I approach each wedding with sensitivity, always prioritizing the couple’s enjoyment of their day. I strive to be unobtrusive, ensuring the couple remains fully present in the moment without disruptions.

Above all, my focus is on my clients’ privacy, satisfaction, and vision. I am dedicated to delivering exceptional quality that exceeds expectations, with meticulous attention to detail and unwavering professionalism. This commitment extends to my team, whether assistants, second shooters, or videographers. Together, we uphold the highest standards, ensuring no moment is missed and every detail is captured with care.

What inspires you creatively?

Design, art, fashion, music, and architecture – all forms of the arts – are the lifeblood of my creativity, constantly inspiring and fueling my vision.

What is it that makes an image magical?

The most magical photographs happen when couples embrace creativity and lean into the genuine energy of their day. My focus is on capturing these authentic, emotion-filled moments that are deeply personal and uniquely theirs.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

Be sure to schedule a meeting – either via video call or in person – when choosing your photographer, as their personality is just as important as their artistic talent. You’ll spend more time with your photographer than almost anyone else on your wedding day, so it’s essential to find someone you enjoy having around, who complements your energy, and who is also a skilled creative.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

I’d love to return to Iceland or Japan – both hold such special places in my heart and offer endlessly inspiring settings to create meaningful work.
