When we heard that the designer behind iconic Australian label, Thurley, was transitioning into bridal, we knew it was going to be something special. 

Firmly established in the fashion world, Helen O’Connor boldly followed what she knew felt innate. At odds with the fashion industry’s pace, bridal was a world that held space for the artisanal process that Helen needed to bring her art to life. A deeply symbolic collection that celebrates transformation, Helen’s first collection ‘Phoenix’ merges past paths with future dreams to find a landing place in bridal that feels like home. 

Inside her newly opened studio nestled in the creative heart of Fitzroy, Melbourne is where the ‘Phoenix’ Collection is housed. Here, luxurious fabrics are sculpted into dramatic shapes, intricate embroidery is woven over translucent fabrics, and iridescent pearls are intricately dotted and unexpectedly placed. Texture spills from this diversely contrasting collection, woven together by a mood of femininity and elegance.
