An Ancient Château Reception
An ancient Château in The Netherlands, transformed into a moody reception spilling with wild, rambling blooms.

Inspired by the elegant allure of the Châteauesque comes a collaboration of contrast and harmony. A thoughtful collision of classic architecture with dark, romantic detail, a balance of old and new.
Creative Director Liselore Stap together with floral designer Edenique, photographer Kim Captein, and a coterie of talented creatives, brought the beauty of France to The Netherlands by transforming the historic façades of Château Neercanne into a setting suffused in poetic romance.
Juxtaposing color and texture, shape and form, a tablescape layered in dreamy florals, glass votives and organic décor elements was set against the chateau’s aged exterior. In an eye-ensnaring feat, a cloudlike installation of baby’s breath was suspended from above, a focal point dichotomously dyed in deep burgundy and soft blush hues.
Below, dark accents were laced into muted arrangements of peonies and full-bloomed roses, further highlighting the contrasting color palette. Natural elements including hand-shaped ceramics, wooden accents and textural linens delivered a fresh and tactile feel to the tableau, with minimalistic table menus further infusing a sense of refined modernity.
A considered curation of romantic detail, this was a moment of artful balance; a poetic convergence of past and present.
