What was the inspiration and creative direction behind this new bridal collection?

The collection plays with contour, volume, and texture to highlight different facets of femininity, much like a gallery of masterpieces. Each gown is designed to enhance movement and light, creating a sense of fluidity and grace.

How would you define the signature craftsmanship that sets Elie Saab apart?

In bridal, the Elie Saab signature lies in timeless femininity, precise tailoring, and romantic detailing. Each gown is thoughtfully designed with refined fabrics, light volumes, and delicate embellishments that highlight the bride’s natural grace. The craftsmanship is rooted in creating pieces that feel personal and lasting, with a sense of ceremony that remains modern and effortlessly wearable.

Did you explore any new techniques or materials in this collection?

This season is a silk Mikado corset, exquisitely framed by braided Mikado braids; this corset may be paired either with a translucent lace skirt or a flowing, ethereal mousseline one.

Which three looks stand out most to you, and what kind of woman do you imagine wearing them?

Each gown in the collection is crafted to reflect a different expression of femininity, allowing every bride to find the style that resonates with her.
Some evoke a majestic presence, like a sculptural ivory ballgown adorned with subtle floral appliqués. Others embrace a modern sensuality, such as a crystalline column dress with sheer detailing that plays with light and movement. New York is a city of energy, creativity, and reinvention. It is always inspiring to visit this city, whether exploring the arts, architecture, or simply walking through the city’s vibrant streets. When I visit, I love to spend time at The Met, discovering new exhibitions, and enjoying quiet moments in some of the city’s timeless spaces.
