Mira Zwillinger Spring ’20 Bridal

A return to a poetic ethereality and refined subtlety for the season…

An undeniable electricity fills the room backstage at Mira Zwillinger‘s Spring ’20 runway. Models, styling assistants, hair and makeup artists alike are busy finessing final touches, while Lihi and Mira, the dynamic mother-daughter duo behind Mira Zwillinger, step aside from the creative chaos for a moment to share the intimate details behind the new collection.

Lining racks behind us are gowns steeped in an ethereal lightness and subtlety. Intricate embellishment and textural, hand-stitched embroidery are woven over sheer, featherweight materials, with a beautiful sense of effortlessness and poetic refinement, as if organically growing from each silhouette. This season’s essence of etherealism, delicate adornment and soft femininity felt like a return to earlier seasons still etched into our mind when Mira Zwillinger first graced the New York Bridal Week shows. It was a beautiful balance of innovation with new techniques such as 3D printing and unique fabrication combinations that both pushed the brand forward into new realms while staying true to their heritage.

“Hair was slightly tousled and swept back into undone knots, while makeup felt fresh and dewy, complimenting the naturalness and lightness of the collection.”
