Nestled within the breathtaking San Diego hills, the family owned Monserate Winery is an unexpectedly transportive property,  bringing together three distinct venues in one. Each magically distill the dreaminess of a destination wedding in Tuscany with the logistical ease of a local venue. Evocative of a sprawling countryside estate in Tuscany, a touch of old-world soul, aesthetic, and ambience is infused into every poetic visual, but balanced beautifully with modern luxury, elevated amenities, and thoughtful attention to detail—honoring comfort, quality, and ease of experience.

The Tuscan Estate

Each of the three distinct and dreamy spaces at Monserate Winery, inspired by centuries-old Tuscan architecture, were designed as an elegantly neutral canvas, awaiting transformation. Against a palette of lake, vineyards, and sculptural cypress, the magically transportive Tuscan Estate is perfectly named. The Barrel Room’s textured stone walls, vaulted ceilings, and dramatic windows offer soaring views beyond its courtyard, where decadent celebrations will glow under draped market lights.

Villa de Fiori

Golden hour arrives at Villa De Fiore and otherworldly light pours through leafy towering oaks onto a lush green lawn. Located in the heart of Monserate Winery’s 116-acre estate, this beautiful venue reimagines Tuscan-inspired rustic elegance with California laidback luxury. Built from repurposed Italian horse stables, Villa De Fiore overlooks a lake with stirring vistas of vineyards and rolling hills.

The Hideaway

Tucked away like a hidden treasure behind some of the winery estate’s majestic one-hundred-year-old oak and sycamore trees, enveloped by acres of lush vineyards, The Hideaway offers the luxury of absolute privacy and seclusion for your wedding amidst a soulful, serene backdrop of breathtaking nature. Savor the evening’s sunset, dolce vita style, overlooking The Hideaway’s expansive green lawn.

Hold your ceremony during Golden Hour under the grand oaks and sycamore trees, a backdrop so naturally overflowing with beauty, it needs little styling. We love the idea of arranging ceremony seating in an unexpected circular spiral, creating an intimate flowing aisle, winding both inwards and outwards, in unison with the natural surrounds.

The Cocktail Hour
