Behind The Brand

How would you describe your photography style?

My style is photojournalistic, I look to capture the space between moments that the two of you share, capturing all the real moments as they happen in an unobtrusive and natural way. I won’t be forcing you to smile for every photo. I’m here to help you remember the missable moments that get lost in the blur of your romance, transporting you to the day every time you revisit my photos. I’m not going to make you do any cheesy stuff, nothing that feels forced… Just the really good stuff!

What is it that makes an image or wedding film magical?

For me, it is the vulnerability that shows through on the day by all the people involved in the wedding. There is nothing quite like witnessing a couple’s love cemented through their commitments to each other amongst their closest family and friends. It’s a very personal experience for me to be invited into the intimacy of a wedding.

What advice would you give to the camera-shy couple?

Trust your photographer and go with the flow. You only get to do this once, so let’s have some fun and create something beautiful that will last forever.

Do you travel interstate or internationally?

Yes, I do. I am Sydney-based and available worldwide. Each year I take on a handful of international weddings too, they are truly special! I will be in Europe from June to August 2023 and taking a select handful of wedding bookings.

As an estimate, how long does your editing process take?

I share sneak peeks with each couple within the first few days of their wedding, with the full collection of photographs anywhere from 4-6 weeks. I am a perfectionist, so I take the editing process very seriously spending time on each and every photo.

Describe a magical moment from a wedding you’ve captured…

For me, the most magical moment would have to be when we sneak off for portrait photos at sunset. You are about halfway through the best day of your life and it’s just the two of you, watching the first sunset of the next chapter in your life. This is a really special moment and I really try to step back and let you enjoy it while taking some beautiful photographs along the way. A moment to slow it down and take it all in… Then it’s time to get back to the celebrations!
