Behind The Brand

What was the spark for beginning Brilliant Earth?

Brilliant Earth was founded in 2005 to raise the ethical standards of the diamond industry and create a new way to buy beautiful fine jewelry. Our co-founder was shopping for an ethically sourced engagement ring and was not satisfied with the lack of ethically sourced options available, leading to the creation of Brilliant Earth. Brilliant Earth’s mission is to cultivate a more transparent, compassionate, and inclusive jewelry industry.

Joyful, authentic, approachable, playful, optimistic, conscious, caring, youthful & fresh.

What inspires you creatively?

Our number one goal is to make incomparably beautiful jewelry, just for you. Our team designs every piece to delight you, from the first time you see it and every day after. We carefully consider the entire piece — the artfully tapered prongs; the hidden accents under the center gem; the precisely curved interior of each band. We obsess over comfort, quality, and durability to ensure that this is jewelry you will cherish for a lifetime.
