The brand was founded by three siblings who share a few things in common; an obsession with perfection for their craft and purpose, a love of design, architecture, and gemology, as well as an overwhelming sense of responsibility for what they do.

Behind The Brand
Where are your gemstones and diamonds sourced from?
Our gemologist, Hamish Whiting, sources our modern cut diamonds directly from the largest international diamond global diamond Sightholders who cut 90% of the world’s diamonds. This ensures that the diamond rough is ethically sourced from one of the big reputable diamond mining operations located in Botswana, Namibia, Canada, Russia, and South Africa. The Sightholder companies are carefully selected for upholding industry-leading standards of professionalism, and ethical and sustainable practices. It also means we have a much larger selection of diamonds to choose from, and can “cherry-pick” out the highest performing diamonds.
All of our sapphires and spinels are ethically sourced from small-scale, independent artisanal mines in both developed countries such as Australia and Montana (USA), and developing countries such as Sri Lanka, Nigeria, and Madagascar. We limit our supply chain by buying directly from the miners, the gemstone cutters, or local trusted brokers who work directly with the miners. Hamish has formed strong relationships with our trusted suppliers in each mining area to ensure that the mining operations follow ethical practices.
Do you offer a custom design service? If so, how long does it take to make a custom piece?
Yes, I would say that 95% of what we make is bespoke! We have such a large range of carefully purchased gemstones and diamonds to choose from which gives our clients an opportunity to naturally gravitate toward the design and gemstone for them. We have two custom offerings- our Bespoke service, which allows you to customize one of our signature designs according to your budget by hand selecting your gemstone(s) and metal type. Then we have Custom by CW, which allows you to create something completely new from scratch around your hand-selected gemstone. The CW experience is a very instinctual journey and we are just there to educate and guide our clients along the way to finding the piece that feels right for them. Our bespoke jewelry takes between 6-10 weeks to make depending on the piece. It is all made locally on-site in our Melbourne workshop by our master jeweler.
What is your most popular piece?
Our CELINE ring is our modern interpretation of classic solitaire. It really heroes the diamond or gemstone it holds. It can be customized with any shape and size of gemstone, and any metal, and is perfect for someone who wants to layer their engagement ring with stacking bands!
What advice would you give to a couple looking for their wedding jewelry?
Don’t follow trends. Go for something timeless, which feels like you – follow your instincts!
What tips do you have for couples to care for their jewelry?
Clean your gemstones and diamonds regularly (at least once a week), using warm water, dishwashing detergent, and a soft toothbrush. Being on the hand, stones are magnets for grease and grime, which hides their brilliance, so it’s so important to keep them clean if you want them to sparkle! Ring maintenance and checkups are a must if you want your rings to last. I tell customers to get their rings serviced (and professionally cleaned) as often as you would get your car serviced.
