About Larsen Jewellery
At Larsen Jewellery we specialize in custom made fine jewelry, with each piece made to the highest standard of workmanship by our team of talented jewelers. Our jewelry is backed by a lifetime guarantee and our stunning range of loose certified diamonds and colored gemstones are carefully selected by expert gemmologists.
High ethical standards are at the heart of everything we do, from ensuring that all our metals, gemstones, and diamonds are conflict-free and ethically sourced, to providing objective and unbiased advice. When you visit our Australian studios, you sit down with jewelers, not salespeople. With decades of experience in design and craftsmanship, we can help bring your perfect ring to life.
Behind The Brand
Where are your gemstones and diamonds sourced from?
As an ethically minded business, we put considerable thought and effort into having our values reflected throughout our entire supply chain. Our gemstones and diamonds are carefully chosen through trusted suppliers who have their own high ethical standards. We also strictly abide by The Kimberley Process of sourcing gemstones and diamonds. We purchase all of our metal from recycled sources and we do our own in-house recycling (refining) of metal. If we purchase new metal it is sourced directly from New Zealand. We are also a licensed supplier of Fair Trade Gold. We are the first Australian jeweler to go completely carbon neutral, and we support our community by donating 10% of profits to charity every year.
Do you offer a custom design service? If so, how long does it take to make a custom piece?
Yes, we offer a truly special and unique one-on-one experience. Each client has their own personal jeweler that sees them through the entire experience. When a client visits either our Sydney or Melbourne studios, they have a one-on-one appointment with a jeweler. Together they work on designing a one-of-a-kind engagement or wedding ring. Once the design is completed that same jeweler will then make the client’s ring. This makes us very distinctive from other jewelry brands. Custom pieces usually take between 4 to 7 weeks to make but we are happy to work within a client’s time frame if possible.
Another custom service we offer is our Wedding Ring Experience where a couple visits our studio and with a dedicated jeweler, they hand make each other’s wedding rings.
What is your most popular piece?
What advice would you give to a couple looking for their wedding jewelry?
Know what you love. Our jewelers are here to help you create a ring that is unique to you. We recommend doing a bit of homework first by saving images of rings you like. We then work with you to create a ring that combines all your favorite elements into something truly unique to you!
What tips do you have for couples to care for their jewelry?
Each piece of jewelry we create is made to the highest standards of workmanship and is covered by a lifetime guarantee. At every stage, quality is our number one priority. We offer a complimentary annual check-up on all our custom-made rings but at home, you can keep your ring looking sparkly by gently scrubbing it with warm soapy water using an old soft toothbrush. Try to focus under and around the center stone to remove any unwanted grime. You can also polish your ring with a polishing cloth to remove any dust on your ring. And when not wearing your ring make sure you have a safe place to put it!
