About Lost Boys' Diary

Ignited by the magic of fairy tales and the wonder of childhood, Lost Boys was established by two sisters in Brisbane who desired to create luxurious wedding stationery. Their paper goods feature romantic, elegant and contemporary designs inspired by enchanted forests and leather-bound books. They focus on intricate details and deluxe textures. They use high quality paper, in-house digital printing and hand-penned calligraphy. Their invitation suites are customisable with a range of paper, print and color options.

Behind The Brand

Do you offer custom bespoke services?

We are happy to work with you to create a unique, bespoke design that reflects your individual taste and wedding theme while keeping to the Lost Boys aesthetic.

Do you offer pre-designed suites?

We offer semi-custom invitation suites that are customisable with a range of paper, colors and embellishments. Our suites include invitations, Save the Dates, RSVP cards and envelopes. We also have add-on options such as menus and detail cards.

How would you describe your style when it comes to your products and services?

At Lost Boys, we’re inspired by the magic and nostalgia of fairy tales. Think woodland creatures, 17th Century royalty and old castles. We believe every couple’s love story can be told as a fairy tale. Our style is luxurious, elegant and a little bit whimsical. Our designs feature high quality papers including vellum and handmade paper, and intricate details such as wax seals and handwritten calligraphy.

What is the general lead time for your custom/bespoke designs?

We will print the invitations once the design has been finalised and the proof has been approved. The invitations generally take 3 to 4 weeks for printing and an additional 1 to 2 weeks for handwritten calligraphy. Please note that this is an estimation only, the timeline can vary depending on the order.

What advice would you give couples when designing their wedding invitations?

The simpler the design, the more elegant and timeless. Only put the essential information on the main invitation. If you need to provide additional information such as reception or registry details, you can include these on separate cards. Your invitation should be a preview of your wedding day. When designing your stationery, take inspiration from unexpected elements of the wedding such as the texture of your table linen or the tones of the surrounding foliage to keep everything cohesive. A beautiful, well-made invitation is not only a luxurious experience for the recipient but can also be kept by the couple as a memento.
