What draws you to wedding videography?

Wedding videography captivates me for its perfect fusion of creative storytelling and visual artistry. For me, producing wedding films is like crafting a short film — telling a tale with captivating characters and a heartwarming story of love, family, and celebration. Simultaneously, I get to compose cinematic imagery that delights the eye and sparks excitement. However, what truly ignites my passion is the privilege of documenting a crucial memory for my couples, their families, and the generations that follow. It’s the utmost purpose that fuels my dedication to this craft.

How would you describe your videography style?

My videography style is a blend of authenticity and aesthetics. I cherish genuine moments through a documentary lens, capturing the unfiltered joy and love shared between couples, family, and friends. At the same time, I introduce a touch of cinematography inspired by the high-fashion world to showcase the beauty of the bride in her wedding couture as well as the aesthetics of the meticulously designed wedding decor.

What inspires you creatively?

What deeply moves me on a profound emotional level is to experience intimate expressions of love – a quiet tear or a heartfelt embrace. Holding equally inspirational power is the joie-de-vivre of wedding guests celebrating the couple, their love and life in general, especially on the dance floor, when expressed unreservedly and wholeheartedly.
Further fuelling my creative vision is the presence of aesthetics, emanating from fashion, interior or any other form of design.

However, the true heartbeat of my creativity is when the right piece of music emerges, that is not only musically captivating but also perfectly in sync with the characters and their story to be told.

What is it that makes a film magical?

A truly magical wedding film feels like an artistic masterpiece, combining breathtaking visuals with a thoughtful narrative that moves gracefully through the day’s events and emotions like an effortless dance. It is supposed to leave me completely in awe, making my heart feel light and heavy at the same time.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding videographer?

Selecting a wedding videographer is a pivotal decision in encapsulating the essence of your special day. Beyond the obvious considerations of professional expertise, their quality of work, and shared aesthetic preferences, prioritize a videographer who is not only a skilled videographer but also a reliable and professional vendor. Ensure they are someone you genuinely want around on your wedding day as the rapport between you and the videographer does not only shape the results of your wedding film but also influences your overall experience of the wedding celebration itself.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

Several locations come to mind, each presenting a distinct otherworldly experience. The Uyuni Salt Flat in Bolivia, with its mirroring floor, offers an exquisite backdrop for an ethereal ceremony. The black sand beaches of Iceland, marked by a striking contrast to the bride’s white wedding dress, evoke a compelling visual delight. Alternatively, a romantic shoot in Camargue, France, where wild horses pass by the couple unconcerned, seamlessly combines the inherent beauty of nature with the expressive facets of untamed and impassioned love.
